Butterflies plays an important role in our ecosystem and are under tremendous treats from number of natural and anthropogenic stresses. The ecosystem services provided by these nature's angle is beyond imagination. In absence of these beautiful creature food security will be at stake. To conserve these butterflies in-situ and ex-situ means have been carried out. Out of the various initiatives, one attempt in Tadoba forest of central India is explored. In this book butterflies recorded in Tadoba forest have been described. A total of 66 butterflies from five families have been described. Dominance and abundance of these creature and classification according to IUCN status have also been attempted. This book will serve as a field guide to forest officers, academician, research scholars and nature lover.
