Educational Psychology is an applied aspect of General Psychology, focusing over the study and modification of behavior according to the demands of society. Behavior is a broad term covering the overall aspects of life including cognition, emotions, morality, professional and social dealings, etc. It has been established that a normal individual feels anxious for future oriented tasks, which serves as a motivator for overcoming the obstacles, however, an extreme level of anxiety may lead to academic, social and vocational malfunctioning. The study in hand attempted to determine the academic anxiety of students at university level and to correlate it with their academic achievements. It also focused over the correlates of anxiety among university students. A concluded result lead to the findings of an inverse relation between anxiety and academic achievements of university students, whereby the value of correlation coefficient found was r= -0.38.
