It is a medical procedure which divides the patients into separate different groups according to interventions, medical decisions, practices, and/or products, to tailor the patient based on their disease risk or predicted response. Personalized medicine, also termed precision medicine, or Theranostics, stratified medicine also used interchangeably to describe this concept. Theranostics is a combination of diagnostics tools and therapy.
