This book aims to support those who are partially not equipped with knowledge to understand human rights' importance. Chapter one, speaks about the vision of an intellectual, Pixley kaSeme who aimed to promote human rights. In the late 40's; Seme's vision was in the minds of those who were thirsty for peace (post the world wars). The powerful woman, Eleonar Roosevelt tabled the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights for the UN’s adoption. Nomzamo Winnie Mandela nailed the human rights agenda by mobilising & uniting the masses in South Africa. Later, the apartheid regime failed the global human rights’ test. The next chapter reveals how uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) members sacrificed to defend the rights of the oppressed South Africans.Whilst MK was walking in the corridors of peace, it reluctantly compromised in order to prevent domestic war that might have destroyed the country and led to instability. MK survived to restore human dignity, human rights, human security & peace. It could not allow women & children to be forced to the refugee camps. This chapter concludes by calling for MK Theory as the global peace meter.
