Association between hepcidin, ferroportin and iron metabolism

Iron is the necessary molecule for cellular metabolism and is an imperative nonorganic substance, that plays a major role inoxygentransport, short-term oxygen storage., electron transfer, DNA synthesis and cell cycle phase transitioning.
