Influence of Road Network on Commercial Land Use in Makurdi, Nigeria

In urban areas all over the world, various land uses tend to compete for excellent locations. Urban planners are faced with the challenge of resolving this competition to avoid chaos. In order to avoid conflicts, urban planners made several efforts to zone land uses into particular functions such as commercial, public, residential, transportation, industrial and recreation.
