Fe(OTf)2 catalyzed one pot synthesis of novel pyrazole derivatives

Pyrazole, a five-membered heterocyclic moiety found in a number of small molecules that possess a wide range of agricultural and pharmaceutical activities.Moreover, some pyrazoles are used in supramolecular and polymer chemistry, in the food industry, and as cosmetic coloring and UV stabilizers, while some have liquid crystal properties. A new catalytic approach is given for synthesis of novel pyrazoles in this book.
