The results obtained from the study shows that buyer should not only think about supplier development practices but also work for relationship practices. Together these practices with consideration of supplier’s perspective will help to make buyer more competitive and will also enhance the trust between buyer and supplier which will eventually influence the supplier to provide better quality. Finally the study concludes that Supplier Development Practices and Buyer Supplier Relationship Practices together improve the relationship between buyer and supplier and this improved relationship leads for competitive advantages followed by profitability.
