Colour is a major factor in our acceptance of food. To catch the attraction of the consumers Synthetic colours are widely used as additives in food materials. Studies reveals that, excess usage of permitted and Non permitted colours cause health problems like cancer, Malignant, Hyperactivity, distractibility, excitability impulsiveness, anxiety, difficulties with coordination, disabilities of both cognitive and learning functions like diseases in children.
