The purpose of this study is to evaluate Kierkegaard’s concept of truth as subjectivity by comparing it with the biblical concept of truth. Although there are many theologians and philosophers whose concept of truth could be explored, Kierkegaard, as philosopher and theologian, is deliberately chosen because his teachings epitomize the subjective understanding of truth in twentieth-century Christianity.
